LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's current account surplus increased to 2.13 billion euro ($2.5 billion) in the first seven months of 2018, from 1.73 billion euro in the prior-year period, the country's central bank said on Thursday.
In July alone, Slovenia's current account was in surplus of 453.6 million euro, higher than the 316.1 million euro surplus in July 2017, the central bank said in a monthly balance of payments report, citing preliminary figures.
Slovenia's trade surplus expanded to 1.02 billion euro in January-July from 956.3 million euro in the corresponding period of 2017.
