September 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices lost ground on Wednesday after two positive closes in a row, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended 0.49% lower at 1,025.35 points after gaining 0.36% on the previous day. The broader SBI20 index fell 0.34% to 4,146.64 points after a rise of 0.32% on Tuesday.
Six of the eight blue chips declined and the remaining two advanced.
Retailer Mercator and fuel retailer Petrol were the two gainers, adding 1.22% and 0.13% to an average daily price of 165.93 euro ($235.9) and 303.23 euro, respectively.
The top decliner on Wednesday was Pivovarna Lasko, Slovenia's largest brewer, which dropped 1.48% to 30.54 euro.
LJSE's total turnover dropped to 1.7 million euro from 2.37 million euro on Tuesday. Bonds generated 110,000 euro of Wednesday's turnover compared to 74,700 on Tuesday.
