February 21 (SeeNews) - Serbian company Jasikovo plans to build a 70 MW wind farm in the municipality of Majdanpek, in the east of the country, the local authorities said.
The Jasikovo wind farm will comprise sixteen wind generators, according to project documentation posted on the Majdanpek municipality website last week.

According to the Serbian business registry, Belgrade-based Jasikovo is wholly owned by private individual Ivan Pantelic. It was founded in February 2022 with a capital of 70,000 dinars ($640/600 euro).
Approached by SeeNews on Monday for further information about the size of the investment, a local authority official declined to comment. A SeeNews email to Jasikovo went unanswered by the time this article was published.
