November 9 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial output fell by an annual 8.5% in the January-September period, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said on Monday.
The country's September industrial output rose by 1.3% from the previous month but was 4.0% down on the year, INS said in a statement. The figures are seasonally and working-day adjusted.
Breakdown by industry (pct change, year-on-year):
Romania’s industrial output rose by 0.9% last year. It increased by 5.4% in 2007 after rising by 7.1% in 2006.
