October 30 (SeeNews) - Romanian state-owned flag carrier TAROM will launch flights from the northwestern city of Cluj to London's Gatwick airport and Spain’ Barcelona, the transport ministry said on Tuesday.
TAROM flights to Barcelona will begin on November 24 and flights to London will start on December 3, the ministry said in a statement. It did not elaborate what the frequency of the flights will be.
TAROM will also add flights from the city of Sibiu, in central Romania, to Vienna. It will operate the Sibiu-Vienna route three times a week from October 31.
The company's fleet comprises five Boeing 737-300 aircraft, four Boeing 737-700s, seven ATR 42-500s and two Airbus A318-111.
