TIRANA (Albania), November 12 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Thursday that its after-tax profit from operations in Albania fell to 11 million euro ($13 million) in the first nine months of 2020, from 23 million euro in the same period of last year.
Net interest income dropped 6.5% on the year to 40 million euro, while net fee and commission income decreased by 22% to 10 million euro, RBI said in a financial report for January-September 2020.
Operating income decreased by 9.1% year-on-year to 53 million euro in the nine months under review.
General administrative expenses totalled 32 million euro in January-September, down 1.5% on an annual comparison basis.
The ratio of non-performing loans (NPLs) of RBI in Albania decreased to 5.5% in the first nine months of 2020, from 5.6% in the comparable prior-year period.
RBI's total assets in Albania rose 2.7% year-on-year to 1.87 billion euro in the first nine months of 2020.
The number of RBI business outlets in Albania fell to 77 at the end of September 2020 from 78 a year earlier.
