April 23 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,315 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.7 million dinars. NIS lost 0.28% and closed at 725 dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, gaining 2.94% to 3,500 dinars. A total of nine of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 31,500 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.06% to 739.95 points on Monday. The index fell 0.04% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.03% on Monday and closed at 1,562.97 points, after decreasing 0.26% on Friday.
Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] paced the blue-chip decliners list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as it lost 2.78% and closed at 35,000 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 490,000 dinars, as 14 of its shares changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 5.7 million dinars ($59,008/48,239 euro) on Monday from 4.9 million dinars on Friday as 345 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 176,274 dinars.
