November 29 (SeeNews) - All but one of the main Bulgarian stock indices finished Tuesday's trading session higher, chiefly driven by increases in Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], Gradus [BUL:GR6] and Telelink Business Services Group [BUL:TBS], bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index advanced the most, by 0.34% to 598.64 points as diversified group Doverie jumped 4.71% to 8.00 levs with 6,907 shares traded.
The biggest blue-chip decliner on the day was energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which slid 8.00% to 1.84 levs.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.28% to 137.72 points. Its performance was supported by the rise in Doverie as well as a 3.03% gain in poultry producer Gradus to 1.36 levs.
Doverie, along with TBS Group with a 2.17% climb to 11.75 levs, were the top gainers in the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 closed 0.27% higher at 721.46 points.
Earlier on Tuesday, TBS Group subsidiary Telelink Infra announced that a consortium with its minority participation has started work on developing and implementing the Bulgarian interior ministry's TETRA communication system and radio relay network.
The only index to finish in the red was the BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts and which inched down 0.01% to 181.85 points. A 0.98% increase in Bulgarian Real Estate REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.06 levs was offset by a 0.66% decline in Advance TerraFund [BUL:ATER] to 3.03 levs and a 0.42% decrease in CCB Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:CCBR] to 47.80 levs.
Another property company, Alteron REIT [BUL:ALT] generated the highest turnover of the day, of 876,000 levs, followed by Doverie with 55,256 levs. Alteron closed flat with as many as 36,500 units sold at an average price of 24.00 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange slumped to 1.34 million levs ($708,398/685,131 euro) on Tuesday from 6.65 million levs on Monday.
