August 30 (SeeNews) - Macedonian lender Stopanska Banka Bitola [MSE:SBT] said on Thursday that its non-consolidated net profit increased to 44.8 million denars ($849,080/728,160 euro) in the fist half of the year from 32.1 million denars in the same period of last year, following a rise in revenue.
The bank's net interest income grew to 174.6 million denars in the first six months of 2018 from 147.4 million denars in the corresponding period of last year, Stopanska Banka Bitola said in an interim financial statement.
Stopanska Banka Bitola's net fee and commission income rose to 59.1 million denars in the review period from 47.7 million denars the year before.
The lender booked net financial and non-financial asset impairments of 20.4 million denars and 20.1 million denars, respectively. In the prior-year period Stopanska Banka Bitola booked 12.7 million denars of financial asset impairments and 727,000 denars of non-financial asset impairments.
Personnel costs rose to 86 million denars in the period under review from 84.8 million denars the year before, while other operating expenses declined to 79.2 million denars from 93.6 million denars a year earlier.
