December 29 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA:R-A] led the gainers among the blue chips on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
ZABA shares closed 6.1% higher at 53.67 kuna ($7.4/7.1 euro), as 420 shares changed hands.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP-R-A] generated the highest trading turnover of 2.6 million kuna. The company's shares closed 0.37% down at 34.34 kuna.
Ice cream and frozen food company Ledo [ZSE:LEDO-R-A] led the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 3.09% to 10,679.47 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover edged up to 27.7 million kuna on Thursday from 27.2 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE lost 0.38% to 1,991.33 points, after increasing 0.04% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, decreased 0.82% to 1,155.98 points after edging up 0.01% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index fell by 0.20% to 109.0047 points.
