May 21 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,276 Komercijalna shares changed hands in turnover of 2.9 million dinars. Komercijalna closed down 0.56% at 2,297 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.14% at 674.47 points.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.20% to 590 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.27% at 1,490.54.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 822 million dinars ($7.7 million/7.0 million euro) on Thursday, up from 5.8 million dinars on Wednesday, as 62 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 457,540 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 817.5 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Thursday.
