November 20 (SeeNews) - Four of the five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) lost ground on Monday, with the blue-chip SOFIX shedding the most, 0.30% to 746.53 points.
The benchmark index was pushed lower by energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which dropped by 4.19% to 1.60 levs. Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] followed, slipping by 0.85% to 2.32 levs.
Eurohold and BREF also set back the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The index was further pressed by a 2.91% tumble at cable and wire manufacturer Emka [BUL:EMKA] to 2.00 levs. The BGBX40 closed 0.14% lower at 157.27 points.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was also constrained by the fall at BREF and erased 0.17% to 190.89 points.
A 1.96% decline in investment firm HR Capital [BUL:HRC] to 2.00 levs held back the BEAMX, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies. The index dipped by 0.08% to 100.16 points.
The only index to rise was the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse doubled to 486,631 levs ($271,900/248,810 euro) on Monday from 240,563 levs on Friday.
