BELGRADE (Serbia), June 27 (SeeNews) - Czech developer RC Europe plans to open in November a retail park worth 5.5 million euro ($6.3 million) in Uzice, in western Serbia, the city government said.
The retail park, NEST, will employ some 200 workers, the Uzice city government said in a statement on Wednesday, after the town mayor Tihomir Petkovic and RC Europe's CEO Mihail Augustin laid the cornerstone of the building.
The Uzice retail centre is the second one RC Europe opens in Serbia, as the first one is in Kraljevo, some 160 km from Belgrade.
Over 90% of the retail park has been pre-leased, the statement quoted Augustin as saying.
