December 13 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) edged lower on Tuesday, ending a five-day gaining streak, as losses in Adris and Podravka offset marginal gains in Hrvatski Telekom and Valamar, bourse data showed.
The 19-share equity CROBEX dipped 0.10% to finish at 1,932.98 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.19% to close at 1,140.85 points.
Hotel owner Imperial Riviera [ZSE:HIMR] and lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) [ZSE:HPB] were the most traded companies with turnovers of 750,000 ($106,000/99,500 euro) and 478,000 kuna respectively as their stocks ended unchanged at 795 kuna and 790 kuna. Hoteli Imperial is not part of the indices, while HPB is part of the broader one.
Among the blue chips, preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] declined 0.82% to end at 364 kuna in a turnover of 418,000 kuna, and food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] shed 1.53% to close at 642 kuna in a turnover of some 231,000 kuna.
Shares of index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] appreciated 0.29% to close at 175.50 kuna in a turnover of 243,000 kuna and hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] rose 0.34% to 29.10 kuna in a turnover of 203,000 kuna.
The bourse's regular trading turnover declined to 15.9 million kuna from 17.3 million kuna on Monday, when it was lifted by a 2 million kuna block deal.
