May 2 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) slightly declined amidst lower turnover on Monday, as shares of port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:LKPC] shined, bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, dipped 0.09% to end at 2,127.41 points.
The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, ended at 1,276.59 points, down 0.15%.
Lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) [ZSE:HPB] was the most traded share with a turnover of 3.2 million kuna ($445,000/423,000 euro). Its share price fell 1.61% to finish at 915 kuna.
Shares of software developer Span [ZSE:SPAN] advanced 5.24% to end at 241 kuna in a turnover of 1.7 million kuna.
Third by turnover ranked shipyard Brodogradiliste Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] with 627,000 kuna. Its price surged 4.55% to finish at 13.80 kuna.
The biggest daily gainer on Monday was port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:VLEN]. Its shares jumped 14.95% to end at 615 kuna in a turnover of 117,800 kuna.
Shares of Brodogradiliste Viktor Lenac and Luka Ploce are constituents of CROBEX, but are not included in CROBEX10.
The ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 10.2 million kuna from 16.1 million kuna on Friday.
