April 13 (SeeNews) - Insurance company Croatia Osiguranje [ZSE:CROS2] said on Wednesday it plans to distribute a dividend of 112 kuna ($16.1/14.8 euro) per preference share for last year, the same dividend it paid out for each of 2019 and 2020.
Croatia Osiguranje intends to distribute a total of 980,000 kuna as dividend for 2021 out of the company's reserves, it said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Tuesday.
The net profit of 334.1 million kuna reported for 2021 will be retained. Last year, Croatia Osiguranje retained its 229.6 million kuna net profit reported for 2020.
Shareholders will vote on the proposed dividend distribution at a meeting to be held on May 26. Ex-dividend date is June 1, record date is June 2 and payment date is June 23.
Croatia Osiguranje's ordinary shares [ZSE:CROS] last traded on the ZSE on March 23, closing 7.91% higher at 7,500 kuna.
The insurer's preference shares [ZSE:CROS2] last traded on April 1, ending flat at 7,100 kuna.
