January 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA] decided to raise its capital by issuing up to some 7.13 million new ordinary voting shares, to be offered to the holders of company's warrants, it said.
The new shares of 1 lev in par value each will be offered to the Sopharma warrant holders at an issue price of 4.13 levs ($2.30/2.11 euro) apiece, Sopharma said in a bourse filing on Friday.
If warrant holders do not exercise their rights now, they can do so in future capital increases until the warrants expire, the company said.
Sopharma issued in 2022 some 44.93 million warrants, each giving their owner the right to subscribe for one share at 4.13 levs in a future capital hike within three years of issuance. The company last increased its capital in this way in October, raising 156.1 million levs through an exercise of warrants.
Sopharma's equity capital is currently divided into some 172.6 million shares with a nominal value of 1 lev each, according to commercial register data.
As of 0926 CET on Monday, shares in Sopharma traded flat at 6.00 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
