October 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA] said on Monday that it raised some 156.1 million levs ($84.6 million/79.8 million euro) in a capital increase.
A total of 249 warrant holders, including 23 legal entities, exercised their rights and subscribed for some 37.8 million new company shares between September 7 and September 29, Sopharma said in a bourse filing.
The company had offered for subscription to its warrant holders up to 44.93 million new shares with an issue price of 1 lev apiece at an issue price of 4.13 levs each.
Last year, Sopharma issued 44.93 million warrants, each giving their owner the right to subscribe for one share at 4.13 levs in a future capital increase of the company within three years of issuance, according to an earlier statement by the Financial Supervision Commission.
As of 1530 CEST on Monday, Sopharma shares traded 4.74% lower at 6.84 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
