December 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said it has signed a 8.9 million levs ($5.1 million/4.5 million euro) contract for the delivery of rail trackage with Sofia-based Infra Commerce, following a public procurement tender.
Infra Commerce will be responsible for the supply of 4,000 tonnes of 60 E1 type rails in the span of one year, NRIC said in a notice last week.
The contract was signed on December 1. Five bidders submitted offers in the tender, in which price was the sole criterion for the offers' evaluation.
Infra Commerce is a wholly-owned unit of Bulgarian infrastructure construction company Trace Group Hold.
