March 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian construction company Dinevi Group wants to build a marina in Azerbaijan and a second marina in its home country, a company official said on Monday.
A press officer of the company, which is also selling yachts in Bulgaria, told SeeNews that the plan for the construction of a marina in Azerbaijan was at a very early stage and even the design has not been made so far. The company has expressed its intention to build a marina in the Azeri capital Baku during a recent visit of its owners to the city.
"From now on, the design will be drafted and when all this will start, I cannot say, in any case it will be in the distant future," the press officer said and added it was too early for announcing the planned investments in the project.
"It [the company] has the intention to build another marina in Bulgaria [...] It also is just an idea, even the location has not been chosen yet," the press relations officer added.
The group completed the construction of its sole marina, Marina Dinevi, last year. It is located in the Black Sea coastal resort of Sveti Vlas, which has turned into a well-developed resort over the past few years, where many luxury apartment hotels operate. The company is doing its yacht business through its subsidiary Venid Yacht.
Dinevi Group (www.dineviandco.com), set up in 1989, is building luxury villas, hotels and residential developments mostly in the Black Sea resorts of Sveti Vlas, Slacnev Bryag and Burgas. The company has a golf project in Ihtiman, some 50 kilometres southeast of the capital Sofia, and residential projects in the ski resort Pamporovo, in the capital city Sofia and in the Black Sea resort Mamaia in neighbouring Romania. It plans to further expand its presence abroad through residential compounds in neighbouring countries.
