December 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's BDZ Cargo, part of state-owned railway group BDZ Holding, said it awarded an 8 million levs ($10.4 million/9.2 million euro) contract for the supply of electricity to local company Most Energy, following a public procurement tender.
Most Energy will supply an estimated 75,000 MWh of net active power for the needs of BDZ Cargo's electric traction rolling stock for a one-year period, the railway company said in a notice earlier this week.
The contract was signed on December 1. The tender attracted offers by two bidders, which were ranked by price.
