February 14 (SeeNews) - The four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) continued their downhill slide on Tuesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX losing the most, or 0.40% to 609.91 points, bourse data showed.
The weak performance was driven for a second day straight by energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which retreated a further 2.38% to 1.64 levs amid the fallout of a hostile takeover attempt on a Romanian subsidiary.
The top SOFIX winner was diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], rising 2.58% to 0.794 levs.
The loss at Eurohold, along with a 1.44% drop in Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] to 27.30 levs, constrained the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index edged down 0.02% to 737.93 points, with the minimal decrease offset by Chimimport and a 3.87% advance in Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] to 1.88 levs.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, erased 0.39% to 140.78 points, affected by a 9.64% plunge in Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG] to 0.15 levs with 24,730 shares traded. The wider index was further driven down by a 2.74% decline in poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] to 1.42 levs.
Finally, the BGREIT index closed 0.31% lower after Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] slipped 2.94% to 3.30 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange slightly declined on Tuesday, to 278,894 levs ($153,108/142,596 euro) from 294,990 levs a day earlier.
