June 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said on Thursday that it has signed a 22 million levs ($12.8 million/11.2 million euro) contract with a tie-up between local companies Geostroy and Infrastructurno Stroitelstvo for the rehabilitation of a 5.8-km railway section.
The railway section links railway stations Koprivshtitsa and Stryama, NRIC said in a notice.
The contract was inked on June 6.
Two companies filed bids in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
According to registry agency data, Geostroy and Infrastructurno Stroitelstvo hold stakes of 50% each in the tie-up.
