BELGRADE (Serbia), December 22 (SeeNews) – Serbia's capital Belgrade is set to get a Kempinski hotel as part of a mixed-use residential and commercial development, local media reported.
The scheme that will incorporate the Kempinski property, which will replace the Jugoslavija hotel in Belgrade's Zemun district, will also feature two towers reaching up to 140 m, news agency Tanjug reported on Monday, citing a zoning plan adopted by the municipal council.
The existing hotel Jugoslavija will be completely renovated and modernised, while the two planned towers will be constructed to offer high-end living and business facilities.
According to the zoning plan, the north tower, with its 33 stories, will be designed for business and commercial facilities, while the south tower is intended for luxury residential living.
