April 11 (SeeNews) - The Albanian road authority, ARRSH, said on Thursday it has opened a tender for nine two-year contracts for supervision services for nine segments in four major road reconstruction and expansion projects, with budgets totalling 157.5 million leks ($1.66 million/1.55 million euro).
Of the total, 92.5 million leks is the estimated value of the contract for the supervision of works to expand four sections of the road connecting the central city of Elbasan to the Qafe Thane checkpoint near the border with North Macedonia, ARRSH said in a tender notice.
Some 26.4 million leks is the expected supervision cost for a project involving expansion of a segment of the highway linking the capital Tirana to the port city of Durres.
The estimated supervision cost for the construction of two sections of a road that will connect the southern city of Berat to the Ballaban village further south, near the city of Gjirokaster, amounts to 32.2 million leks.
For the supervision of the reconstruction of a road connecting the capital Tirana to the bay area of Plepat in Durres, 6.3 million leks has been earmarked.
Offers for all tenders can be submitted until April 29.
