April 3 (SeeNews) - Albania’s road authority, ARRSH, said on Wednesday it has opened tender procedures for the expansion of four sections of the road connecting the central city of Elbasan to the Qafe Thane checkpoint near the border with North Macedonia, with a total budget of 10 billion leks ($105 million/97 million euro).
Prospective bidders should be able to complete earthworks, demolition, pavement construction, minor and major structure development, traffic sign installation and relocation of high voltage power lines within a 24-month timeframe for each of the four road sections, ARRSH said in tender documents.
Offers for each of the four sections can be submitted by May 8.
