April 4 (SeeNews) - Albania’s road authority, ARRSH, said it has opened a tender for the expansion of a segment of the highway linking the capital Tirana to the port city of Durres, with a budget valued at 1.7 billion leks ($17.6 million/16.2 million euro).
Prospective bidders should be able to refurbish end-of-life road layers and expand the road to handle rising traffic especially during the summer season, ARRSH said in tender documents on Wednesday.
Construction work should be completed within two years.
Offers can be submitted until May 5.
