ANKARA (Turkey), February 13 (SeeNews) – Turkey's industrial production grew by 8.6% on the year in December, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
On a subsector basis, the mining and quarrying index increased by 9.8% and the manufacturing index gained 9.1% year-on-year in December. The electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index grew by 0.3%, TurkStat said in a monthly report.
In a monthly comparison, the country's industrial output increased by 1.9% in December.
In the fourth quarter of 2019, industrial production grew by 5.8% year-on-year and increased by 1.5% compared with the previous quarter.
