Turkey's Aktif Bank, Kuveyt Turk units seek nod for 400 mln lira (148 mln euro) sukuk issues

September 25 (SeeNews) - Turkey's Capital Markets Board (SPK) said it has received applications from units of Islamic lender Kuveyt Turk and investment bank Aktif Bank to issue 200 million Turkish lira ($100 million/74 million euro) of sukuk each.

Kuveyt Turk's unit KT Kira Sertifikasi Varlik Kiralama plans to offer the sukuk in a public offering, while Aktif Bank's unit Aktif Bank Sukuk Varlik Kiralama plans to offer the sukuk to qualified investors, SPK said in a bulletin published on Tuesday.
