December 23 (SeeNews) - Turkish mobile phone operator Turkcell [IST:TCELL] said it has signed a $90 million (73.8 million euro) loan agreement with Dutch ING Bank and Sweden's Svensk Exportkredit guaranteed by the Swedish Export Credit Agency (EKN).
The loan carries a fixed interest rate of 3.04% and will be extended in three tranches, each with a maturity of ten years, Turkcell said in a statement last week.
Turkcell will use the proceeds of the loan to finance the purchase of products and services from Swedish networking and telecommunications company Ericsson AB and its Turkish subsidiary Ericsson Telekomunikasyon.
Turkcell will repay the loan in semi-annual instalments.
