October 16 (SeeNews) - Trade in corporate bonds formed 81% of the regulated market turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as the blue-chip SOFIX index ended its two-day winning streak, bourse data shows.
Total trading turnover increased to 1.6 million levs ($950,000/818,100 euro) on Tuesday from below 300,000 levs on Monday.
Delta Credit's [BUL:0DC1] 5.0% four-year bonds, due in 2019, were the most traded instrument on Tuesday and formed over 1 million levs of the total turnover.
The blue-chip SOFIX index lost 0.20% to 609.51 points on Tuesday, after ending higher in the preceding two trading sessions.
Software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] fell most among blue chips, closing 2.30% lower at 0.848 levs. Earlier this month, Sirma Group Holding announced it has acquired a 26.06% stake in its subsidiary - semantic technology company Ontotext, for 4.2 million euro.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:5BU] was the biggest gainer among blue chips, adding 1.58% to a closing price of 1.93 levs per share.
BREF is currently appealing the registry agency's decline to enter the company's capital increase into the commercial register. In August, BREF said it has raised 27.5 million levs via the issuance of 14,491,925 new shares.
BREF's increase in share price backed the 0.36% rise on the BGREIT index, tracking the performance of real estate investment trusts (REITs). The index gained 0.42 points to 117.36 points.
The other contributor to the index's growth was Advance Terrafund [BUL:6A6], the largest REIT by market capitalisation, which closed 0.25% higher at 1.985 levs.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 0.21% to 119.75 points. Power distributor CEZ Distribution [BUL:3CZ] gained most among BGBX40 constituents, adding 5.31% to 238 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.08% to 507.69 points, on the back of a 4.16% drop in shares in Hydraulic Elements and Systems [BUL:4HE].
