February 17 (SeeNews) - Online betting operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB] said on Friday that it acquired 15,000 new shares in its wholly-owned subsidiary CT Interactive at a nominal value of 100 levs apiece to increase the unit's capital.
CT Interactive's 1.5 million levs ($820,623/766,935) capital increase was fully subscribed by Telematic Interactive Bulgaria, the betting operator said in a stock exchange filing. The unit's equity capital is now divided into 104,100 shares with a par value of 100 levs each, according to data from the commercial register.
The transaction was carried out in order to develop CT Interactive's operations, purchase software products and create an online studio for live broadcasting games.
Earlier this month, Telematic Interactive Bulgaria said that CT Interactive extended its licence contract with Casino Technology Georgia until February 10, 2031, granting the Georgian company exclusive rights to Telematic Interactive's gambling games. CT Interactive provides game content to international contracting parties.
As of 1200 CET, shares in Telematic Interactive traded 2.01% lower at 14.60 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
