March 16 (SeeNews) - Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Friday, bourse data showed.
Sopharma closed 2.16% higher at 4.25 levs ($2.67/2.17 euro) in a trading volume of 32,839 shares.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.11% to 679.98 points on Friday after losing 0.07% on Thursday.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, added 0.89% to 132.95 points, following a 0.11% increase on Thursday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, remained unchanged at 116.69 points in a second consecutive trading session.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased 0.29% to 550.29 points on Friday, after rising by 0.25% on Thursday.
Total trading turnover on the BSE regulated market fell to 1.2 million levs on Friday from 2.6 million levs on Thursday.
Software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] was the most traded blue chip on Friday, as 50,664 of its shares change hands at a weighted average price of 1.0199 levs.
Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] fell the most among blue chips on Friday, closing 2.67% lower at 7.3 levs.
