April 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices recorded a second consecutive winning session, with the blue-chip SOFIX index adding 0.19% to 521.54 points on Tuesday.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB] was the major gainer among SOFIX members, with its share price rising by 3.33% on Tuesday.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] and Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] followed with gains of 2.16% and 1.63%, respectively.
Outside blue chips, cables maker Emka [BUL:EMKA] saw a 5% rise in its share price after announcing that its net profit grew to 2.4 million levs in the first quarter from 1.3 million levs in the same period of 2020.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.27% to 117.55 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.13% to 563.22 points.
The BGREIT index, which follows the performance of seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.42% to 145.53 points.
Total trading turnover amounted to 4 million levs ($2.5 million/2 million euro), more than half of which was formed by deals with shares in Port Flot-Burgas [BUL:PFB] and Toplofikatsiya-Ruse [BSE:TPLR].
