December 23 (SeeNews) - All share indices of the Sofia bourse closed higher on Thursday, mainly backed by a rise in IoT products developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] and the Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE], the bourse operator, data showed.
On the bourse's SME growth market BEAM, Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON], a company related to Bulgarian cargo drone manufacturer Dronamics, made its debut following a successful initial public offering (IPO). Shares in Dronamics Capital closed at 1.86 levs, above the issue price of 1.10 levs in the IPO held earlier this month, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index went up 0.32% to 633.31 points, supported by a 3.42% rise in the shares of IoT device developer Allterco. As many as 5,435 shares in the company changed hands at an average price of 23.8765 levs .
A gain of 6.36% in the BSE's share price supported a rise in the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGBX40 closed 0.52% higher at 142.59 points, while the BGTR30 advanced by 0.81% to 680.24 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.35% higher at 164.36 points due to a 1.76% rise in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market increased to 18.85 million levs ($10.7 million/9.5 million euro) on Thursday, from 16.85 million levs on Wednesday.
The most traded company on Thursday was real estate firm Velgraf Asset Management [BUL:VAM]. A total of 828,720 shares in the company traded flat at an average price of 4.28 levs, contributing 3.55 million levs of the total turnover for the day.
The stock exchange in Sofia will be closed for trading on December 24, December 27, and December 28 for the Christmas holidays. It will reopen on December 29.
