January 24 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange recorded a fourth day of a losing run on Friday, closing 0.10% lower at 582.81 points, bourse data showed.
Financial group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] led losers among the blue chips, shedding 3.21% to 1.51 levs ($0.85/0.77 euro).
Other prominent decliners among the blue chips included Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] and software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK], which fell 3.13% and 2.34%, respectively.
The drop in the share prices of the top three SOFIX decliners also affected negatively the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 erased 0.15% to 525.62 points.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, fell 0.07% to 114.33 points, dragged down predominantly by Alcomet [BUL:6AM], which saw its shares lose 5.13% to 7.40 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed 0.43% higher at 135.10 points due to a 2.15% rise in the share price of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6]. Advance Terrafund REIT has managed to recover after it led decliners among the blue chips and among BG REIT members on Thursday, losing 2.11%.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to 222,100 levs on Friday, down from 307,000 levs recorded in the previous trading session.
