April 11 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index lost 0.74% on Thursday, following its 1.17% rise in the preceding session, as software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] shares slumped 3.45% to 0.70 levs.
The biggest decliner on the Sofia exchange on Thursday was Holding Sveta Sofia [BUL:4HS], which erased 6.06% to 3.72 levs.
Holding Sveta Sofia is a member of the wider BGBX40 index and the equally-weighted BGTR30 index.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, declined 0.65% to 115.34 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, dropped 0.77% to 502.53 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed 0.41% lower at 120.76 points, solely due to a 2.07% decrease in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU]. In the preceding session, the BGREIT soared 3.24%, tying its all-time high of 121.26 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover rose to 731,000 levs ($421,000/374,000 euro) on Thursday from 455,000 levs on Wednesday.
