March 22 (SeeNews) - All but one of the indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) were in negative territory at Tuesday's close, while newcomer Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB] declined 3.8% to 48.10 levs ($27.10 /24.59 euro ) on its trading debut, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index slid 0.15% to 597.16 points. First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB] led the gainers, rising 6.2% to a closing price of 2.42 levs per share.
Another lender, Central Cooperative Bank, [BUL:CCB] topped the list of blue-chip decliners. It ended the trading session 4.27% lower at 1.17 levs per share in a total volume of 5,124 shares.
The BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, gained a modest 0.04% to 701.62 points. IoT devices developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] was the biggest decliner, dropping 3.66% to 18.40 levs per share.
Turnover on the BSE's main market surged 92.8% to 2.7 million levs on Tuesday.
Telematic Interactive Bulgaria accounted for the fifth-highest turnover, of 253,535 levs, as a total of 5,271 shares changed hands. The leader by this indicator was Galata Investment Co [BUL:GTH], which generated a turnover of 570,000 levs. Galata Investment Co closed flat at 2.28 levs per share.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, inched down 0.06% to 138.95 points. The biggest decliner was aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:6AM], which closed 5.41% lower at 7.0 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was also down, by 0.18% to 171.33 points, on the back of a 2.9% drop in Super Borovets Property Fund REIT [BUL:6SB].
