April 26 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's blue-chip SOFIX index edged down 0.01% to 519.88 points on Monday, as lender First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] lost 3.1% of its price.
Other notable decliners among SOFIX members included Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF], which saw a 1.59% share price decrease, and resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB], which closed 1.23% down.
Their losses were mostly offset by Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], which added 2.77%, and Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which gained 1.78%.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.29% to 117.81 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.30% to 563.84 points.
The BGREIT index, which follows the performance of seven real estate investment trusts, fell 0.22% to 145.35 points, as the drop in BREF's share price was partially offset by Advance Terrafund's [BUL:ATER] 0.46% gain.
Total trading turnover amounted to 958,000 levs ($591,000/490,000 euro).
