August 17 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) said on Thursday that it admitted to trading some 21.7 million new shares in local cable manufacturer Emka [BUL:EMKA].
Starting August 21, the shares, with a par value of 1 lev ($0.56/0.51 euro), will be traded on the Standard Segment of the BSE main market, the bourse operator said in a statement.
The stock was issued as part of Emka’s most recent capital increase from June when the company doubled its capital to 43.4 million levs by converting profit into equity.
Shares in Emka last traded on Wednesday when they closed at 2.06 levs, bourse data show.
