August 1 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's SKB Bank said on Friday it turned to a net profit of 17.5 million euro ($23.6 million) in the first half of 2014 from a net loss of 12.6 million euro a year earlier.
The bank’s net interest income rose 4.8% on the year to 29.7 million euro through June, while net non-interest income increased by an annual 11.6% to 21.5 million euro, SKB said in a bourse filing.
SKB also said that its fully-owned unit, SKB Leasing, ended the first half of 2014 with a pre-tax profit of 2.7 million euro, 7.0% up from a year earlier.
SKB Bank is part of French banking group Societe Generale.
