March 15 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia increased by a real 2.2% year-on-year in January, after rising 3.4% in December, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Thursday.
Month-on-month, the average net earnings fell by a real 3.8% in January, after falling 1.9% in December, the statistical office said.
In nominal terms, the average net wage rose 3.7% on the year to 1,077.73 euro ($1,332.0), while it fell 4.6% on the month.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,659.27 euro in January, up by a nominal 4.2% and a real 2.7% year-on-year.
