December 23 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia dropped by an annual 17.9% to 8,930 in the first 11 months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 26% on the year to 6,646 vehicles in the January-November period, ACEA said in a statement on Thursday, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 19.9% on the year to 2,156 in the period under review.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 15.5% year-on-year to 1.49 million in the first 11 months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 7.0% lower at 213,803.
