October 28 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia dropped by an annual 17.1% to 7,393 in the first nine months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 25.5% on the year to 5,502 vehicles in the January-September period, ACEA said in a statement this week, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 23.6% on the year to 1,820 in the period under review.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 17.6% year-on-year to 1.185 million in the first nine months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 9.0% lower at 172,966.
