LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's current account surplus soared to 995.9 million euro ($1.1 billion) in the first four months of 2016 compared to 683.7 million euro recorded a year earlier, central bank data showed on Monday.
In April alone, the current account recorded a 347.3 million euro surplus, up 44.3% on the year, the data indicated.
Slovenia's foreign trade surplus nearly doubled to 724.6 million euro in January-April from 380.7 million euro in the same period last year.

Slovenia's latest available full-year current account data for 2015 shows a surplus of 2.8 billion euro, up 8.5% from 2014.
