LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 23 (SeeNews) – Slovenian logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] recorded the sharpest losses among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday, bourse data showed.
Intereuropa's shares closed 5.51% lower at 2.4 euro.
Earlier in the day, the logistics group said state-owned postal operator Posta Slovenije will acquire 9,168,425 ordinary shares and 10,657,965 preference shares of Intereuropa at a standard price of 1.45 euro per share if the transaction is completed.
In May, Posta Slovenije signed an agreement with a group of banks - SID Banka, Nova Ljubljanska Banka, Gorenjska Banka, Nova KBM, SKB Banka, and Banka Intesa Sanpaolo - to buy a 72.13% stake in Intereuropa.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] recorded the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on Monday. The company's shares closed at 62.0 euro, up 0.98%.
Krka generated also the largest portion, of 918,070 euro, of LJSE's trading turnover on Monday.
The bourse's total turnover fell to 1.18 million euro ($1.3 million) from 1.57 million euro on Friday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Monday's session 0.02% lower at 856,770 points.
