October 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's industrial production increased by 1.1% month-on-month in terms of value in August, following a 1.7% monthly decline in July, the country's statistical office, SURS, said on Monday.
In annual comparison, industrial output went up by 8.4% year-on-year in August, after an 8.9% annual rise in July, SURS said in a statement.
The value of industrial production increased at the monthly level in capital goods industries and in intermediate goods industries by 5.7% and 0.6%, respectively, and decreased in consumer goods industries by 1.9%.
In the first eight months of 2021, Slovenia's industrial production rose by 12.6% on the year.
