LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 10 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's industrial production increased by 3.0% in 2019 in terms of value, compared to 5% growth in the prior year, provisional data from the country's statistical office, SURS, showed on Monday.
Production last year was mostly bolstered by manufacturing which expanded 3.4%. The output in utilities and mining and quarrying fell by 0.8% and 3.6%, respectively.
In December alone, industrial production rose 1.0% year-on-year in terms of value, following a 1.2% increase in November.
Month-on-month, the value of industrial production fell 1.8% in December, following a 1.1% drop in November.
