LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 24 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index decreased by 2.1% percentage points month-on-month at 6.9 p.p. in April, after remaining unchanged at 9.1 p.p. in March, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday, citing seasonally adjusted data.
In April, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 6.4 p.p. lower on the year, the statistical office said in a statement.
The confidence indicator in the services sector remained unchanged relative to March. Compared to April last year, the indicator was 0.8 p.p. lower.
In April 2019, the manufacturing confidence indicator was 1.1 p.p. lower compared to the previous month and decreased by 3.3 p.p. over April 2018.
The retail trade confidence indicator was 0.5 p.p. lower in April on a monthly comparison basis. Compared to April last year, it increased by 0.1 p.p.
The confidence indicator in construction fell 0.2 p.p. on the monthly change, while it was 0.7 p.p. lower than in April last year.
