March 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator remained unchanged on a monthly basis in March, after decreasing 6 percentage points (pps) in February, the country's statistics office said on Thursday.
There were no significant changes in the four component indicators. Expectations about the country’s economy worsened by 2 pps and expectations about households’ finances were down by 1 pps. The savings expectations improved by 2 pps and the expectations about the unemployment level rose by 1 pp.
The value of the consumer confidence indicator improved by 11 pps compared to March 2016, and was 5 pps above last year’s average. In February, it gained an equal 11 pps on the year.
All four component indicators had a positive impact on the annual change of the confidence indicator. An improvement was registered in expectations about the country’s economy by 18 pps, about the unemployment level by 15 pps, about saving by 6 pps and about households’ finances by 3 pps.
